I am struggling to decide where to start with this one… my posts haven’t been great for the past month and a half; life has just completely got in the way as I have been so BUSY recently. I suppose it began with something that happened which caused me to lose a lot of my inspiration to write, however I have moved on from that and everything is on the up.
Just over a month ago I was able to move house to an AMAZING flat closer to the university and town centre. It is going to be perfect for next year and is a lot more spacious. The problem with moving house is connecting to the internet, which took 3 weeks, so this made posting rather difficult, especially as I wasn’t even there most of the time.
The reason I wasn’t, is down to the Eco-Marathon Team that I am part of. We have had three events in this time, two competitions and being part of the Shell stand at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. I am not going to say any more about these as I have a couple of posts in mind and I don’t want to spoil it!
As well as this, I have also been up and down the country visiting friends and spending as much time with people as I can, so all in all, I either haven’t had internet, haven’t had my laptop or I haven’t had time to write, making looking after my blog rather difficult.
It’s back to reality for me now though. I am at home with my parents for the summer and working back in my waitressing job to try and re-build my savings after it took a major hit this last few months. I am also going to take this time to put everything back on track… I am going to work on my blog and keeping up a schedule, I have (as of today) re-started the 30 day yoga challenge with Adriene and I have a few projects that I want to focus some time on.
I took last week as a break to relax and start to put things back into a routine, but now it is time for me to focus on the things that matter and make sure I will be starting my third year of university in the way that I want to.
I have had a bit of celebrating to do after receiving my university results and finding out that I managed to get a First for this year which I am so thrilled about, as well as exciting opportunities opening up with a possible placement next year, so fingers crossed!
Finally, I am sorry that I have been so absent recently but I am back now so stay tuned!
Thanks for reading 🙂
