Hi Guys! So it is finally here, my spring wishlist. This post is very likely to be a long one as there is a lot on my list (most of which I can’t afford so probably won’t get) but I hope you enjoy reading about those products that I just really want.
- Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Face Mask… (£36 from boots.com)
I tried a little sample of this at the beginning of February and it was wonderful, my face felt lovely and smooth but not in any way stripped, my face was still lovely and moisturised.
It isn’t a classic face mask that dries onto your face and requires scrubbing to remove, when I used it, the formula stayed reasonably wet and could be removed easily with a cloth. For my skin this was much more effective than the Origins Drink-Up Intensive Overnight Mask, or any other mask that I have tried.
- Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm with Cleansing Cloth… (£36 from Debenhams)
It is impossible to not have heard the hype over this, so many bloggers all over rave about it and I am desperate to find out why.
- Tangle Teezer Original… (£10.99 from Boots.com)
Living in the North West of the UK, you do have to deal with some strong winds which tangle my hair to a complete birds nest. This is so painful to try and brush out so I do really want to try a tangle teezer and see if it makes a difference.
- Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick… (£5.49 from Boots.com)
I haven’t decided the shade or whether I would get the matte version or not, I just know I want to try them (and it will definitely be them and not one), the colours are beautiful and pigmented, I just have to try it! Maybe I will treat myself Friday…
- Mac Lipstick in Brave… (£15.50 from Selfridges)
I tried this out in store last Friday and oh my, was it beautiful! I may need to get this with some birthday money next month. Until then though, what would you deem to be the best dupe?
- Bare Minerals Original Foundation in Fairly Light… (£25 from Debenhams)
I picked up a tester of this last Friday, it took a couple of days to find my preferred application, but now that I have I am loving it and I need to get it properly. It feels so light on my skin and has SPF 15. The only downside is that it doesn’t apply very well over my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer so I will probably look at the Bare Minerals Concealer (and blush – they look so pretty) too. I apply this in gradual layers with my Real Techniques Duo Fibre face brush and I actually quite like it without concealer too for everyday wear.
- Pixi Beauty
I have wanted to try products from Pixi for a long time now, the all look so beautiful. There is one downside here in the UK though, the only place that you can buy the products in store is the Pixi Beauty Store in London. I haven’t been able to visit the store yet as I am in the cold North and I don’t like buying products online unless I know how they look and feel and can see properly if they will suit me. So please pixi beauty, bring you products to the north! Below are just a few of the products that I want to try.
- Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen… (£11 from Pixibeauty.co.uk)
I have heard a lot of good things about these eyeliners being incredibly smooth and not dragging the skin at all. There are so many beautiful colours to choose from too, I really want to try them all.
- Pixi Eye Bright Kit… (£16.50 from Pixibeauty.co.uk)
The eczema that I get around my eyes, along with the usual lack of sleep expected from students, has left the skin looking really dull, I would like to try this to brighten them up.
- Pixi Mesmerising Mineral Palette… (£12 from Pixibeauty.co.uk)
Once again there are so many gorgeous colour choices, no way could I choose between them, I would definitely have more than one.
There are also a few non-beauty items on my wishlist…
- Glass Etching Cream
I still need to decide exactly which one to go for, but I really want to give this a try, after all I love my engraver, but I would like to try this because you can get block areas etched, not just the lines that I create with my engraver.
- Letter and Number Stamps for metal
Again, I still need to decide on the exact ones, but I would like to have a go at using these to see what they are like. I may try to get them before my boyfriend’s birthday so I can use them to make something alongside his actual present.
With all of this crafting, I may even start an Etsy store to sell the random bits and bobs that I create. Watch this space!
So that is all of my Spring Wishlist, I’m sure some will find their way into my basket pretty soon!
I hope you enjoyed reading this, give it a like if you did and please comment the best Mac Lipstick Brave Dupe and let me know if an Etsy store of my random creations would be a good idea! (You can see pictures of some on my previous post here). I would also love to know your opinions of these products and whether you think they are worth it.
Thanks for Reading! 🙂
